I get caught up on Facebook reels a lot too. Facebook messenger helps me stay connected with a lot of my friends and family members, so it’s kind of a life saver on that front.I use Facebook for brain-draining content; I can get hooked on Reels if I'm not too careful. However, I use Messenger the most to stay in contact with closer friends as it's above the Facebook post noise. I also get financial news from Reddit as users are kind enough to post Seeking Alpha and MarketWatch pay walled content.
I only heard of Bluesky once when Jack Dorsey left Twitter. Has it developed much in terms of both use and users? The last I saw, it was possibly an invite-only sign up system, or even closed to registrations, but it's been so long.
I didn't think anybody used Tumblr anymore. From my understanding, it was like Blogspot for people to create their own blogs, but the blogs had low quality posts in comparison, and a lot of it was porn. I thought that Substack had replaced it traffic-wise because of the authority of the authors on it along with the quality content they bring to the platform.
I would prefer to use something like Telegram or Signal that has end to end encryption because I don't trust Messenger with so much more personal information that they can learn from. But, I'd have no luck teaching something new like that to who I need to talk to.Facebook messenger helps me stay connected with a lot of my friends and family
I'll have to check it out now. Does it have a lot of activity or just users?Bluesky recently hit 10 million users and its no longer in invite-only mode.
Now I'm confused.Tumblr is still pretty popular. Automatic owns it. The same company that owns Wordpress.

I thought Google owned WordPress. Or is Automatic a Google company?
