I watched Twisters (2024) in theaters a couple of days ago in IMAX, and I have to say, I wasn’t let down. It works well as a standalone movie, but it also throws in some nostalgia from the original Twister (1996), like the whole weather-monitoring machine, Dorothy, which was a nice touch.

The movie was fun to watch, even if it felt a bit predictable at times. The visuals were pretty awesome, and the sound and editing were on point. Those things really helped make up for the weaker parts of the story.

But honestly, I’d still say the original is way better.
 
I wasn't sure what to expect with none of the original actors. It was a pretty good movie. I like how they shot things up the tornados.
