Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an action-adventure title developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, available digitally on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and iOS. While part of the Tomb Raider series, it departs from the traditional formula, focusing on cooperative gameplay. In multiplayer mode, players can team up as either Lara Croft or Totec, a 2,000-year-old Mayan warrior, to stop the malevolent spirit Xolotl and recover the Mirror of Smoke. For those preferring solo play, the single-player campaign features Lara alone, without AI assistance from Totec.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is an action-adventure game created by Crystal Dynamics and distributed by Square Enix for platforms including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and iOS via digital download. While it's part of the Tomb Raider universe, this game stands apart by focusing heavily on cooperative play rather than the traditional solo exploration. In multiplayer mode, players can either control Lara Croft or Totec, a Mayan warrior who is 2,000 years old. Together, they must join forces to defeat the evil spirit Xolotl and recover the Mirror of Smoke. The game also features a single-player mode where Lara tackles challenges solo, without AI assistance.

Initially launched on Xbox Live Arcade on August 18, 2010, in the U.S. and U.K., the game became available on PlayStation Network and Steam a month later, on September 28. While local co-op was present from the start, online co-op was introduced later. On December 16, 2010, the iOS version was released in North America, featuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth co-op options. The first DLC map pack was made available for free for a limited period.
